    • Profil : Ideally you have a successful experience of at least 5 years as sales developer or sales manager in an exhibition/congress center, or PCO, exhibition organizer, MICE industry, or B to B services. Real hunter, your active listening and your capacity to negotiate and convince allow you to close the deals. We are willingly open to diverse profiles because, beyond experience we are looking for characters: You are known for your determination, curiosity, your responsiveness, your relational skills, your resourcefulness and your team spirit. You are highly motivated by the idea of working for an international Group and you are not afraid to take on challenges. Language requirements: Fluent Japanese (reading and writing), fluent English, the French would be highly appreciated.
    The new Aichi International Exhibition Center will open in September 2019. GL events has got a strong partner, Maeda Company, to manage Aichi International Exhibition Center, with a joined approach to succeed in this project. This is the first time in the event and venue industry in Japan that a concession contract is granted to a private foreign operator, and as such the stakes for GL events & Maeda, the Aichi institutions and the Japanese government are very high. As Japan experiments a shortage of event surface, this project could predict new developments in Japan for the next years. GL events believes strongly in its long term development in Japan and The Aichi project is the first major step. We are looking for the new team to support this new business, develop the venue and come in with us in this adventure and challenge of launching a new exhibition center in Japan. In this exciting role as Sales Developer, you report directly to the Sales Manager hosted events. During the pre-opening phase and after, you build your clients portfolio (trade fair & exhibition organizers, companies, etc...) and propose a prospecting plan and sales plan to develop the sales in your market. You promote the destination and the Aichi International Exhibition Center, visit clients and prospects, draw the contracts and close the deals. You anticipate the evolution in your market and propose services in line with the client needs. You propose innovation or ideas to boost the sales, and report reliably and regularly your activity to your line manager. Thank to your commercial efforts, the occupation rate in high and the year of the opening and after are full of events. As part of GL events Group and the Venue Management Network, you work in synergy with the other venues.
